Sapre & Sons (Goregaon West)

Baap Re!

If the name of the eatery-cum-store (more reminiscent of a cloth merchant or an undertaker) on Aarey Road is not enough to put you off, the atmosphere inside would surely suffice! While a low-cost breakfast might not be too bad a thing for a weekend morning, one certainly deserves more than tables without adequate leg space, especially when there is no reservation of tables. The food is quite ordinary for the most part, but the coffee is certainly worth it. Overall, not a place worth planning out a meal at, but a decent pit stop for some coffee or a vada especially if you are headed for the headquarters of the Indian Whistlers' Association located in the same building.
